I'm hoping this hack job was the result of body damage, which would be awesome. The result actually turned out really good... from a distance. It's a bit of a bondo nightmare up close. But who cares, all the more reason to keep thrashing it offroad
and this ricer was right there too!

My wife has seen a couple of those custom SUV to kind-of-a-pickups and she absolutely loves them for some reason. sure i think they look cool, but they seem be the worst of both an suv (not having tons of space) and a truck (not having covered space)

The XJ is the only one that is really sketchy because of it's lack of separate frame, the 4Runner has a fully boxed frame, so it's not flexing anywhere.

Looks better done than this.

This 4Runner hurts my brain. I can't see any logical reason for it.

if i ever hit the lottery i'm opening a shop that will have two main goals
1. put an engine in the rear of anything you bring in
2. turn any car into a different type such as a shooting brake hellcat or a ranchero Flex

if that tailgate is functional I have tremendous resepct for the builder. I hate half assed chop jobs and want something I can actually use as a truck

its simple, you roll your 4 runner or other offroad truck. and buy it back from the insurance company. then hack it up and make it a truck instead of fixing it

I saw an S-10 with no roof and can only imagine what led to that abomination

I had a sport trac. It was an awesome vehicle until it self destructed the engine. it had more than enough interior space and enough bed space for the average home depot trip.
